  1. Where did you find this?
I have hundreds upon hundreds of magazines going back to 1960, ( including British mags)
& I’ve never seen this exact routine, I’ve seen a similar diet plan that he used, but not “precontest”
…this type eating plan I’ve seen as his “off-season” eating plan to GAIN weight. The Pull-ups equal 225 total reps of pull-ups, I remember clearly reading he did 5 x 10 on the pull-ups = 50 total reps…… What source did you get this from? PS: I have multiple versions of his mail-order training booklets (1970-1976) , can’t find anything like this in any of them…… He definitely did do 20-30 sets on most body-parts and every bodypart 3 times per week…..very interested to know where this came from.
    Thanks for posting …..

    1. The diet was a combination of what was mentioned in Muscle Builder magazine,May 1969. And what he claimed about his preparation for Mr universe 1967 in his book : The education of a bodybuilder, and other different sources. But it was based mainly on the two sources above
For his workout plan you can check this IronMan Magazine,Vol 26, No 5, Page 22, July 1967)
